Our company started off as a soft toys brand "Levenya" in n year. Having gained the leading position in the Ukrainian soft toys market, our management team saw an emerging trend of sustainable toys. With this opportunity on a mind, our wooden toys brand "Cubika" has been born in 2015. 6 years later, our team has managed to become unrivaled leader in the Ukrainian toys wooden toys market and establish a retail partnerships in 27 countries. More importantly, we believe that we have built the business capabilities that will allow us to become one of the key players a in the global market of sustainable toys.

Wood comes from sustainably managed forests (FSA)

Our wood comes from the Carpathians Mountains. Owing to its distant locations from the industrial factories, the level of pollution in the region is low. The forests, from which we get the wood, are sustainably managed. To prove that we have an FSA certificate. Furthermore, since our factory is also located in the Carpathians region, it allows us to avoid unnecessary wasteful transportation of wood, leaving lower carbon footprint.

100% organic wood

Some companies claim that they produce wooden toys, when in the reality the actual content of their toys is a mix of different cheaper elements and wood is a tiny fraction of that mix. We, however, decided to exclusively use wood.

German organic water-based paints

Water-based paints are completely safe for kids. Moreover, such paints are sustainable, since using water as the solvent saves a lot of resources

Production

Our factory is located in Ukrainian part of the Carpathians mountains, in the village Sheshory. Through trial and error, our craftsmanship has been refined to an extent that allows us to match the quality of high-end wooden toy brands, while offering lower prices than them. Our quality machinery and well-thought processes allow us to not only deliver high-quality products, but to do that at scale.

Business Strategy

We believe that market orientation is key to business success. As such, our uncompromisable commitment to sustainability is not only based on personal values, but also on the needs of an increasingly large market segment of environmentally conscious parents. In addition to it, we also realize that sustainability should not come at cost of benefits of toys that children and parents enjoy. As such, our toys are designed to maximize fun and learning children get from playing with our toys. Educational doesn\'t mean boring to us, frankly, quite the opposite.
